Seattle, Wash., April 27, 2010 — In a move that strengthens its
overall position as the pre-eminent supplier in the western United
States of fasteners and component parts, the business of
Seattle-based John Perine Company has combined with the business of
Danforth Screw & Bolt, Tracy, Calif. to form Perine Danforth
Company, LLC.
Perine Danforth Company (PDC) remains in Seattle with Art Clark as
its general manager. Meanwhile, PDC will continue to have a sales
office presence in the Bay Area community of Tracy. A new corporate
logo identity was recently launched by PDC.
“We’re extremely pleased with the consolidation of two respected
corporate brands and believe it offers our growing customer base
many new and innovative distribution/marketing programs,” said Ian
Carrus, PDC’s president. “Danforth Screw & Bolt provided fastener
service to its customers since the mid 1960s; while John Perine
served its clientele for more than 70 years.”
PDC lists more than 40,000 unique line items and carries a large
inventory of English and Metric standard parts. Carrus reported that
PDC’s inventory of structural bolts and cut-to-order threaded rod is
now one of the most extensive in the western U.S. market.
According to Carrus, PDC will continue to advance its Vendor Managed
Inventory programs. “Our customer supply representatives are on the
road every day bringing parts to the production lines,” he added.
PDC is located at 820 S. Adams St., Seattle, WA 98108. Phone:
